Marmolejo is the world's southernmost 6000m peak and lies on the Chile-Argentina border quite near Santiago. It is a very easy ascent but nonetheless a very scenic mountain.

We can organise guided ascents of this peak and guides, horses etc for private expeditions to Marmolejo. For details of how to climb Marmolejo and the neighbouring peaks of the Cordillera Central in Chile, please see our guidebooks, which are available in English, Spanish, Polish and French editions, direct from us or from all good bookshops and mountaineering shops.
