Bonete 6759m

Bonete, the fourth highest peak in the Andes, lies at the southern end of the Puna de Atacama. A remote peak, it receives very few ascents, we made what we believe to be the first British ascent in the year 2000.

We can organise guided ascents of this peak and indeed made the first British ascent in the year 2000. For details of how to climb Bonete and neighbouring peaks please see our guidebooks, which are available in English and French editions, direct from us or from all good bookshops and mountaineering shops.
