Allincapac 5780m

Allincapac, occasionally known by the name of Schio, is the highest peak in the very remote Cordillera Carabaya near Macusani. It has become a very dangerous and difficult ascent in recent years -  the summit plateau is now ringed by seracs on all sides.

We have organised guided expeditions to this remote range. For details of how to climb Allincapac and neighbouring peaks please see our guidebooks, which are available in English, Spanish, Polish and French editions, direct from us or from all good bookshops and mountaineering shops.
