Backpacking in Chilean and Argentine Patagonia
This trip is not currently in our schedule, but we can set it up and run it for a private group.
In this holiday we are offering the best of the long walks in southern Patagonia, spending just over a week walking in each of the Torres del Paine national park and the Los Glaciares national park in Argentina. In Los Glaciares we do a number of short walks around the south, east and north sides of the famous Fitzroy and also a half day walk to the foot of Cerro Torre. In the Torres del Paine park we will do the famous circuit trek through beautiful beech forests and around the back of the spectacular Paine massif.
Highlights of this trip include the usual wild and spectacular Patagonian scenery, with striking rock pinnacles cool blue lochs and vast ice caps. Wildlife in both national parks is abundant and we will have plenty of time to see the best of this, including guanacos, rheas, penguins, parrots and condors.
